James Reid Furniture is looking to expand its team of experienced professionals. As one of Canada’s oldest furniture stores, we have achieved a remarkable 170 year history of serving our community by offering the finest furniture available and by providing exemplary customer service.

We are searching for individuals that have a flair for design and/or a background in sales who can assist clients in selecting and customizing furniture that is right for their needs and design aesthetic.

We are looking for individuals who can:

• Work closely with clients to build a lasting relationship.

• Help clients find the furniture best-suited to meet their needs.

• Build rapport and trust.

• Communicate effectively and can impart knowledge with passion and patience.

• Work proficiently with computers and tablets and have knowledge in Microsoft Office suite.

• Multitask in a details dependent workplace.

• Answer calls and emails promptly and are customer service focused.

• Cooperate and work in a team environment.

• Travel between two different locations in Kingston, when and as needed.

Having an eye for design or a background in tech are considered strong assets.

Team members are renumerated with a combination of hourly pay based upon experience plus commission.

The company also offers an extended benefits package.
